A hybrid of H. pachyscapa x H. 'Sea Octopus', this cultivar was registered by Bob Kuk of Kuk's Forest in Ohio in 2005. It grows into a large size hosta at a height of around 22 inches with dark green foliage that is slightly rippled and wavy. The deep purple flowers bloom from late August into September.
