Introduced by Chet Tompkins of Oregon but registered by Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2001, this is a large size (24 inches high) mound of green foliage with very tall flower scapes that bear funnel shaped lavender flowers in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...can see no difference from 'Tall Boy'."
