Hosta 'Pete's Slon-he'

This slow growing, miniature size (3 inches high by 7 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Blue Moon' × a self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Heavy Duty'. It was registered by Piet de Rooij of the Netherlands in 2015.

The leaves are medium green, nearly round, slightly cupped, moderately flat and dull on top with short petioles. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom from late July into August. It sets seeds but their viability was not known at the time of registration.

Although we were not able to figure out the exact origin of this name, it appears to be an alternative name for Sitting Bull.
