Hosta 'Platinum Nugget'

This sport of H. 'Golden Nugget' was originated by Alex Summers of Delaware and registered on his behalf in 2009 by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar). It differs from the mother plant by having a much lighter gold colored foliage. The large size clump grows to about 18 inches in height with a width of 43 inches. Its leaves are slightly rippled, slightly cupped, broadly ovate and dull on top. The tubular flowers bloom from mid-June into July.
