Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio registered this seedling of H. 'Hearts and Flowers' in 2015. A small size plant (9 inches high by 12 inches wide), 'Playboy' has medium green foliage that is ovate, moderately wavy and dull on top with very heavy substance. The petiole is "branched and twisted" according to the registration materials. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from mid June into July.
