Hosta 'Polar Sky'

 

Originated by Peter Postlewaite of Illinois, this cultivar was registered in 2021 as being of unidentified parentage. It is a large size (24 inches high by 44 inches wide) hosta with dark green foliage that has a golden yellow & various shades of green medial (center) variegation. The broadly ovate leaves are slightly wavy, slightly convexly (downward) cupped and slightly shiny on top. It bears pure white, tubular flowers that bloom from June into July.

According to the Registration materials: "Large medium green leaves with irregular center variegation of golden yellow & various shades of green. Vigorous grower with an upright form."
