Hosta 'Potomac Glory'

Bob Whitmore of Indiana registered this sport of H. 'Potomac Pride' in 2002. It is a large size plant about 20 inches high with a spread of around 40 inches. The dark green foliage has a greenish yellow medial (center) variegation. Its leaves are moderately twisted at the tip, moderately corrugated, broadly ovate and slightly shiny on top. Spider shaped, very pale lavender flowers with a slightly darker edge bloom from late June into July.

The registration materials state: "...the light green center; 1 inch wide petioles...center color intensifies into the season."
