Hosta 'Prairie Rainbow'
 

This upright growing cultivar of unidentified parentage is from Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio and was registered by Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2010. It is a large size plant about 21 inches high by 38 inches wide with dark green foliage that is heavily streaked. The leaves are elliptic to ovate, slightly cupped and slightly wavy. Its tubular flowers blooms from mid-July into August. 'Prairie Rainbow' changes to dark green and white as the season progresses.
