Hosta 'Prince of Aquitain'

This seedling selection is a non-registered cultivar from Wm Zumbar of Ohio. It is a medium size plant about 11 inches high by 17 inches wide with chartreuse to gold colored foliage. The leaves are slightly wavy, ovate and have thin bloom on the bottom. Medium lavender flowers bloom in July.

The historical figure is the Prince of Aquitaine but this cultivar is listed without the final "e" in The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), so until we learn differently, we will go with that name. If you have more information, EMAIL US.
