Hosta 'Purbeck Ridge'

This seedling of Tardiana-type was registered by the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society in 1988 on behalf of the originator, Eric Smith. It is a medium size plant about 16 inches high with a spread of 33 inches.

The blue-green foliage turns to dark green as the season progresses. Its leaves are narrowly ovate, wavy and have thick substance. Pale lavender flowers bloom from late July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has narrower foliage than most Tradianas."
