Registered by Joy Adams of Iowa in 2010, this medium size (17 inches high by 40 inches wide) cultivar is a hybrid of H. 'August Moon'. It has yellow foliage that is broadly ovate, slightly corrugated and dull on top. Purple flowers with darker stripes and translucent edges bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 18 to 25 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...purple flowers contrast well with bright yellow leaves, compact full leaf clump. New greener leaves add interest...new or later leaves are yellowish green..."
