Kevin Walek of Virginia originated this non-registered sport of H. 'Jewel of the Nile'. The large size (22 inches high) plant has leaf blades that are chartreuse with a light gold medial (center) variegation and broadly oblong-ovate-shaped with a long, thin tip. The pale lavender flowers open in July and bear many seed pods.
