A sport of H. 'Frances Williams', this cultivar was registered by James Goffery of New York in 1990. It forms a large size plant with blue-green foliage that has gold medial (center) variegation.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Unfortunately, like many others, it develops some spring desiccation burn in the gold areas of the leaf."
