Hosta 'Quite Pleasing'

Registered by Dr. Doug and Mardy Beilstein of Ohio in 2013, this large size (20 inches high by 32 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. The medium green foliage has a pure white medial (center) variegation with an inner edge of lighter green color. Its leaves are moderately flat, broadly ovate, moderately corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes up to 38 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...variegated with a medium green border that consumes a little more than one-half the leaf, medio portion is white, leaves come out at all angles giving a strong rough look...in fall white scapes with a few white pods finish off the rough appearance..."
