Hosta 'Rainbow Delight'

Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan but registered in 2010 by Rod Kuenster of Iowa on his behalf, this slow growing cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size (8 inches high by 18 inches wide) hosta with green foliage that has creamy white and yellow streaked variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, lightly corrugated, lightly twisted and slightly shiny on top. Flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 14 to 18 inches tall.
