Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York originated this non-registered hybrid of H. longipes x H. pycnophylla. It is a medium size plant with medium green colored foliage. The leaves are slightly rippled, intensely white on the bottom and have reddish purple petioles. It bears bright purple flowers.
