This is large sized sport of H. 'Krossa
Regal' that was registered by
Ron Snyder
in 1994. It has a mixture of greenish white and mottled color in
the center of the blue-green leaf. Lavender flowers bloom on
extremely tall scapes in August.

(2009), "Though 'Regal Providence' was
registered as a sport of 'Krossa Regal', it should be thought of
as a sport of 'Regal
Promenade'...Both "Regal" cultivars are Ron Snyder's best
and most valuable introductions."
