Hosta 'Rhino Blue'

This cultivar is a sport of H. 'Rhino Hide' which was registered by Don Rawson of Michigan in 2010. It has tough, very thick, intensely blue-green leaves which are cupped, heavily corrugated, very broadly ovate to nearly round, unruly, deeply lobed at the base and dull on top. This slow growing hosta should form an upright, large size mound about 20 inches high and 30 inches wide. Near white, tubular flowers bloom from late June into July. It sets viable seeds.
