Hosta 'Rocky Point'

There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo on the HL website, it appears to be a medium size hosta with heavily corrugated, wavy bright yellow leaves that are broadly ovate and come to a point. This non-registered cultivar was originated by Rick Goodenough of Massachusetts.

Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve is located in Suffolk County, New York. Rocky Point State Recreation Area is located in South Dakota.  Puerto Peñasco, also known as Rocky Point, is located about 60 miles south of the Arizona border in Mexico. However, in keeping with a naming series from Rick, we suspect that this is named after the Rocky Point peninsula in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
