This cultivar was registered in 1999 by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa as a hybrid of two hostas called "Hadrava Seedling RD-BSS-92" x "Hadrava Seedling RD-BS-1". It is a medium size plant about 18 inches high by 45 inches wide with gold colored leaves that are corrugated and nearly round in shape.
