Hosta 'Rosedale Lost Dutchman'

This Jerry Hadrava of Iowa cultivar is a self-pollinated seedling of a unnamed seedling which was registered in 1999. It is part of his Rosedale Series of hostas. The plant grows into a large size hosta about 18 inches in height and spreads to 43 inches in width. The foliage is heavily corrugated, broadly ovate and have thick substance. Its near white flowers bloom starting in mid-June.

The Lost Dutchman Gold Mine is, according to legend, a very rich gold mine hidden in the southwestern United States.
