This large size (20 inches high by 46 inches wide) hybrid of two seedlings "Hadrava Seedling RD-BS-1" x "Hadrava Seedling RD-BSS-6" was registered in 1999 by Jerry Hadrava of Iowa. It has bright gold foliage which is broadly oblong to ovate, moderately corrugated and unruly. Very pale lavender flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...another example of how a plant name affects sales. So far, the response has not been positive."
