This cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Regal Rhubarb' was originated by D. Pallone of Ohio and registered by Peter and Jean Ruh of Ohio in 2005. It is a large size plant about 26 inches high with medium green leaves that have red spotted petioles. Pale purple flowers bloom from late July into August.
