Hosta 'Run Around'

 

Originated by Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan but registered in 2010 by Rod Kuenster of Iowa on their behalf, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a medium size hosta about 10 inches in height with a spread of around 14 inches. The foliage is green and lanceolate, slightly twisted, slightly flat and slightly shiny on top. Flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 17 to 20 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...flowing leaves with red speckled petioles..."
