Hosta 'Salus'

 

Registered by Alex Malloy of New York in 2004, this small size (8 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. Its leaves are golden yellow, broadly ovate and slightly shiny on top. Tubular flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes about 17 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...strong, small spring gold...changes mid-season to greenish-yellow..."
