Dr. Ralph (Herb) and Dorothy Benedict of Michigan in 1990, this cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Yellow Splash' with
very wide, creamy white margins. It forms a small size (8 inches
high by 16
inches high) mound which has bright purple flowers from late July into August.
