This plant is a seedling of H. 'Frances Williams' is part of the "Sea Series" of hostas from Mildred Seaver who registered it in 1978. It forms a large size mound of blue-green foliage about 23 inches high with a spread of around 48 inches. The leaves have thick substance. Near white flowers bloom from mid-June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...has never reached the level of popularity it deserves."
