Hosta 'Sea Peridot'

This seedling of H. 'Ledi Lantis' was originated by Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts and registered on her behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. It forms a large size mound about 24 inches high with a spread of around 48 inches. The medium to bright gold foliage is broadly ovate, sometimes cupped, moderately corrugated and has thick substance. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to a Google search, a Peridot is a gemstone variety of the mineral olivine. It is also the name of a fictional character in a science fiction tale.
