Hosta 'Secret Treasure'
 

This cultivar is a sport of H. 'One Man's Treasure' which was granted a U.S. patent in 2012 to Jan van den Top of the Netherlands. This plant forms a medium size (11 inches high by 30 inches wide) mound of shiny green foliage and dark red petioles. The leaves are flat at the base and whitish colored on the bottom with thick substance. It bears medium purple flowers on reddish scapes from mid-September into October.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Hosta plant named ‘Secret Treasure’, characterized by its outwardly spreading foliage with upright flower scapes; dark green and white variegated leaves; purple-colored flowers that are positioned above the foliar plane on strong scapes; and good garden performance.
