Hosta 'Seurikou'

This non-registered cultivar was originated by Shinya Fukatsu of Japan. According to an article by the originator in The British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society Journal (Autumn 2019) this is a large size hosta which is a hybrid of H. longipes × H. plantaginea. It has convexly curved, dark green leaves with narrow creamy yellow marginal variegation. The petioles have reddish purple spots as do the flower scapes. Large, white, fragrant flowers bloom from August into mid-September during the daytime. There is a little pale purple present on the tepal tips and scapes.
