This is a hybrid of a seedling called "Vaughn Seedling SG-3" x H. 'Golden Waffles' which was registered by Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts in 1982. It is a medium size plant about 14 inches tall by 24 inches wide with very bright gold foliage. The leaves are ovate, moderately corrugated and cupped with thick substance. It bears dark lavender flowers.
