Hosta 'Short Fat Fanny'

This non-registered cultivar is a hybrid of the species H. yingeri from Chick Wasitis of Bridgewood Gardens from Maryland. It is a small size plant about 10 inches high by 20 inches wide with green leaves that have a narrow white marginal variegation. The leaves are slightly wavy, slightly corrugated and shiny on top. It bears purple flowers in July on scapes about 20 inches tall.

A minor musical note: Little Richard had a song hit called Short Fat Fanny. Another singer, Larry Williams, released a song called Short Fat Fannie.
