Hosta 'Short and Sweet'

This slow growing cultivar is a miniature size (5 inches high by 8 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Whoopee' which was registered in 2004 by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan. The foliage is light blue-green with unstable white to creamy white streaked variegation. Pale lavender flowers bloom from July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...Ed Elslager informed me (June 8, 2005 conversation) that this cultivar died out in his collection and no longer existed."
