1990 on behalf of the originator, Heinz Klose of
Staudengärtnerei Klose in Germany, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is
a medium size plant about 9 inches high by 26 inches
wide with blue-green
Tardiana-type foliage. The leaves are ovate, wavy and have thick
substance. It bears pale lavender flowers in September
with viable seeds.
The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by
Diana
Grenfell (2009) states: "One of a collection of unnumbered and unnamed
Tardiana Group seedlings acquired by the German nursery
and hosta collector, the late Heinz Klose."
