This cultivar is a seedling of an unnamed seedling of H. 'Sea Prize' which was registered by Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan in 2002. It is a large size, semi-upright hosta which grows to about 24 inches in height with heavily streaked dark green foliage. The leaves are ovate, slightly wavy and slightly corrugated with a curved leaf tip. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

Be aware that there is also a cultivar named H. 'Sizzle'.
