Hosta 'Small Parts'

Danny Van Eechaute of Belgium registered this miniature size (4 inches high by 12 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Gummy Bear' in 2006. The leaves are shiny on the bottom, slightly folded, ovate and have an acute tip. It bears pale lavender flowers from mid-July but is sterile and does not produce seeds.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "An excellent new introduction for the smaller garden, placed in a rock garden or front of the border. Rapid growth rate...exceptionally good raceme of flowers extending well down the scape."
