Registered by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1991 on behalf of the originator, Lucille Simpers of Indiana, this cultivar is of unidentified parentage but of an H. lancifolia 'Aurea' background. It is a small size hosta with foliage that starts the season gold colored but turns green as the season progresses. Pale lavender flowers bloom in late June on short scapes.
