Hosta 'Snow Cream'

This is a medium size (18 inches high by 40 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Alba' is a non-registered cultivar from Alex Summers of Delaware. The medium green foliage is narrowly ovate, slightly corrugated and very shiny on the bottom with thin substance. Pure white flowers bloom in August.

Schmid (1991) says that this was originated by "Lewis" and was one of the many hostas known as No. 159 in the collection of Alex Summers who received plants from sources in many countries. We strongly suspect that the originator was Alan Lewis of England.
