Hosta 'Snow Squall'

There is an image of this cultivar on the Hosta Library. From the photo, it appears to be an extremely upright, large size hosta with very wavy, slightly twisted, dark green leaves and pure white medial (center) variegation. Pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August but are sterile and do not set seeds. It is a unique looking sport of H. 'White Christmas'.   This non-registered cultivar was originated by John O'Brien of Connecticut.

This cultivar won the 2013 Kevin Vaughn Award at the First Look hosta competition as the best sport as chosen by the AHS Judges.
