A hybrid of H. 'Chartreuse Wiggles' × H. 'Starburst' was registered by Calvin Helsley of Missouri in 1998. It grows to 13 inches in height with a spread of 31 inches. The foliage is medium green in the center and dark green in the margins and has thin substance. Pale purple flowers are borne from late July into August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "When I've seen 'Spring Lace' during the growing season...the variegation could only be noticed upon close inspection."
