Hosta 'Standard's Bands'
 

Registered by Ed McHugh of New Jersey in 2010, this medium size (12 inches high by 24 inches wide) cultivar is a sport of H. 'Gold Standard'. It has medium green foliage with a pale yellow marginal variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, moderately corrugated and slightly shiny on top. Medium lavender flowers with stripes and translucent tepal edges bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 28 to 36 inches tall.
