In 1999, Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan registered this seedling of H. 'William Lachman'. It is a large size plant about 21 inches high with a spread of around 46 inches. The highly variable foliage is green with yellow streaks. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This is one of Ed Elslager's favorite breeding plants. He found that it produced a high percentage of gold seedlings."
