Hosta 'Sunshine Kid'

Paul Aden of New York registered this hybrid of H. 'Fascination' × H. 'High Fat Cream' in 1980. It is a small size (12 inches high by 28 inches wide) plant with dark green leaves that have a gold marginal variegation. The foliage is heavily corrugated and has good substance. It bears medium purple flowers in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Very few collectors own this plant, which has changed from having streaked foliage to a more stable, green-centered, yellow-edged form."
