Hosta 'Swan Song'

Registered by Randy Goodwin of Indiana in 2019, this slow to moderate growing miniature size (5.5 inches high by 15 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is dark green with a pure white medial (center) variegation. The leaves are lanceolate, dull on top and relatively flat overall. Medium lavender flowers with purple stripes bloom in July on white scapes 12 to 24 inches tall. It sets non-viable seeds in white pods.

The registration materials state: "...Very symmetrical mound of bright white leaves bordered in dark green make a striking pinwheel effect...creamy white early changing to pure white later."
