This non-registered
cultivar from
Japan is a seedling selection of
H. longipes hypoglauca originated by
LeRoy Davidson of Washington. It is a small size plant about 6 inches in
height with a spread of 17 inches. The dark green leaves
start the spring with a blue-green tone. They are
narrowly ovate and have smooth texture. There are
reddish purple dots on the petioles. It bears purple
flowers in September.
