Originated by John Van Ostrand of Illinois, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage but has H. 'Zounds' in its background. It is a medium size hosta about 17 inches high by 40 inches wide. The ovate foliage is dark green, moderately corrugated and has deep veins. Near white flowers bloom in July on scapes up to 28 inches tall.
