Hosta 'Terre Haute'
 

This small size (6 inches high by 15 inches wide) cultivar was registered in 2009 by Randy Goodwin of Indiana and is of unidentified parentage. It has medium green colored foliage that is lanceolate, moderately folded, slightly wavy, slightly twisted and very shiny on top with petioles that are dark red at the base. Tubular flowers with stripes bloom in July on scapes 18 to 30 inches tall.

According to the registration materials: "...very dark glossy green with petiole base and bloom scapes dark purple..."
