Hosta 'The Wall'

 

Registered by Ed Schulz of Iowa in 2017, this upright growing, giant size (38 inches high by 62 inches wide) cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It has grayish blue-green leaves that are moderately cupped, broadly ovate, moderately corrugated and have a glaucous bloom on top. Near white flowers with a touch of lavender bloom from July into August on scapes 38 to 46 inches tall followed by viable seeds.

The registration materials state: "...Very large, dense, upright mound...Holds its unique color all season long."
