This seedling of H. 'Fortunei Gigantea' was registered by Eunice V. Fisher of Wisconsin in 1971. According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "This Eunice V. Fisher introduction has never been common by any means. In fact, I can recall seeing it only once, in the Benedict garden in Michigan in 1985."
