A hybrid of H. 'Sum and Substance' × H. pycnophylla, this cultivar was originated by Dr. Kevin Vaughn of Massachusetts and registered on his behalf by Kevin Walek (Hosta Registrar) in 2009. The medium to large size hosta has medium to dark green foliage. The leaves are broadly ovate, unruly, moderately corrugated and have thick substance. Flowers with a darker colored midrib bloom from mid-July into August.
